Once upon a very short time ago, I had the opportunity to live in the United Kingdom for a few years, and what a great time it was! Initially my reading life took a huge hit because, well, LONDON! So much to see and do meant so little time to sit and read. I soon learned, however, that “Literary London” is a thing, friends. I found myself searching out books set in locations near me and exploring the places mentioned on the pages.
It didn’t take long to realize this adventure was better together, and the Words On Location book club was born! I am happy to say, from museums to country walks to cocktail creation classes, this destination book club is still going strong. I am sadly no longer there to enjoy all the fun, but can I call it my first franchise??
Back home in the USA, Words On Location has become not just a destination book club but also a lifestyle. Bookish inspiration comes in infinite ways, and I am up for exploring all of them!
